Graphics and media students from Clarendon Sixth Form College visited the, ‘Design Your Future’ UCAS event at the Manchester Central Convention complex to discover the different careers available within the creative arts industries.
The event featured over one hundred exhibitors featuring: art, design, media, fashion, architecture, ceramics, 3D animation, mobile phone technology and multi-media technology as well as workshops and demonstrations.
Jo Lowes, media teacher at Clarendon Sixth Form College, said: “Career events like this are a great opportunity for students to get a feel for what they’d like to do at university or as a career. Students have also had a great time trying-out all the different equipment and technology such as, sound mixing, recording and virtual reality.”
