The course covers Accounts Preparation, Costs and Revenues, Cash Management, Indirect Tax, Professional Ethics and Spreadsheets. The course programme is designed for people who wish to pursue a career in accounting and finance; are considering a career change to accounting and finance; are already working in accounting and finance and are looking to make progress in their career.
The course will train you in the construction, closure and transfer of account balances, producing final accounts and understanding VAT as well as preparing reports for managers to aid with decision making, planning and control.
This is a full time course consisting of 13 hours of study. You will also undertake IFS Personal Finance qualifications.
The course is assessed by external computer based examinations.
On successful completion of this course you can progress to Level 4 Diploma in Accounting. Once you have completed Level 4, you will be qualified to continue to study for the examinations of the major Professional Accountancy Bodies.
